A lot of clichés and predictable stuff and you can pretty much guess what anyone's going to say before you read it. To be fair, it is a ya book and a light read soooo. Also, depends on how old you are now (i think) 1.
The trilogy itself is called the Maze Runner but the Maze itself isn't even a huge factor in the first movie then its just never used again in the following 2 movies. The Maze is where it all starts and Thomas being the first ever person to stay in the maze at night, survive, and kill a Griever is what launches everything into gear.I just finished reading AND watching the Maze Runner trilogy and I need to rant.. I want to start off by saying how much the movies suck compared to the novels. On their own the movies were amazing but once I read the series I was transported into a whole other dimension. The first movie was the only movie that was similar to the book, the .I’ve always thought the Maze Runner movies were underrated. At least the first 2, I haven’t seen the 3rd one. This is coming from someone who 90% of the time agrees with critics on movies. The first one was great, there was a real sense of mystery around it. It was intense, and had pretty interesting characters.Opinions. Is it just me that thinks the first maze runner was just amazing and had so much effort put in to it but the second and third were just simple and had no effort in the making. i love all of them equally. true expect the part in the 2nd film when Teresa is talking to Thomas in the cliff at the end.The books I remember enjoying the most was The Maze Runner series. To me it had the perfect amount of Action and Romance and always kept me on the edge of my seat. Im not looking for something exactly like that but rather more in the same category. ADMIN MOD. The Maze Runner. So, here are a few of the plotholes I noticed: The main character (Thomas) asks why they don't climb to the top of the walls and walk the maze that way. He is told the vines don't reach to the top. Firstly, they do, you see this numerous times in the movie. Secondly, they'd been there three years.Especially as he knows that he and Teresa worked for WICKED and planned it together. But as well I have issues with how it's written. The ending of the third book is so rushed almost like the author ran out of steam and wanted to just end the book. Even thought so many other parts of the book are dragged out. & Teresa's death is pitiful.
In the movie there's a dramatic scene where Thomas is running and squeezing through at least 5m of the closing wall to get to the maze, but in the book it must have only been 1 or 2m at most because he decide to jump through at the last moment and the metal poles are the thing pulling them together. Now this might be me interpreting it wrong .
In the end he was on the right side and is overall a good guy. In the movies. he’s so sweet you can’t hate him. He is so good. I've only seen the movies so yes Aris is good. Aris carries a baseball bat for protection in The Scorch Trials and uses it against one of the cranks much like Stiles carries a baseball bat for protection/uses it .Along with their bad or evil traits though, they also have a lot of good traits whether that be honesty, self-sacrifice, integrity, conviction, and then a lot of other points like just looking, cool or being badass. Problem with Teresa is that she isn't shown with enough good qualities to outweigh her bad. 1.

The movie was amazing, absolutely loved it! Despite certain scenes being not exactly the same as the books, it still conveyed the same feelings. The movie was so well made, it brought out all sorts of feelings. I experienced so much anxiety, fear, sadness and also joy. Now I wanna have a maze runner marathon! 4.shot in the head. the movie death more painful and heartbreaking since Thomas had to stab Newt himself. I’m pretty sure newt and Thomas were fighting in the movie and newt managed to grab the knife and stab himself as Thomas was busy defending himself, which explains why Thomas looks shocked when he sees newts face.The Scorch Trials. The Maze Runner. The Fever Code. The Kill Order. The Death Cure. I think 1, 2, and 3 are close with number 4 right behind closely followed by "The Death Cure". I like them all and I would definitely recommend them since they are my all-time favorite books. I love the scorch trials.
